About Dr. Sana
Dr. Sana is a board-certified and fully licensed ENT physician and surgeon in Houston, Texas. His practice philosophy stresses shared decision-making with patients regarding their care and developing a relationship with them and their families to optimize the care received both in the office and at home. He strongly believes in patient education and empowering individuals to be stewards of their well-being.
Dr. Sana practiced General ENT and Otology in Michigan for several years before deciding to relocate to Spring, TX to start his own practice with 13 years of experience. Although his subspecialty is in Ear and Hearing Surgery, Dr. Sana feels strongly that providing comprehensive ENT care to the community is the basis of his practice.
He is married and as a parent of three young children, Dr. Sana understands and can relate to the concern parents have when their child is not feeling well.
His outside interests include spending time with his wife and children, college football, BBQ, trucks, hiking, swimming, and travel. His brother serves in the military and we are proud supporters of our military families and veterans. 🇺🇸
Training
Dr Sana completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery through Michigan State University and the Detroit Medical Center. His training at DMC’s tertiary-level hospital system in downtown Detroit provided him with extensive experience and exposure to a wide range of pathology. One of the primary hospitals included The Children’s Hospital of Michigan and he received significant training in Pediatric ENT.
During his residency, Dr. Sana developed a keen interest in ear and hearing surgery and was accepted into an Otology Fellowship with world-renowned Dr. Paparella at the University of Minnesota.
